This event will provide opportunities for teachers and teaching assistants to explore some of the practical skills involved in teaching, playing and performing Chinese Music.  Particpants will be able to experiment with Chinese musical instruments and explore different ideas and techniques that can be used in your school's music curriculum or World Culture curriculum.

How to teach Chinese Culture.  KS1 and KS2

An exciting insight into Chinese culture and history.  This workshop will cover aspects of Chinese culture, traditions and important festivals in the calendar including Chinese New Year, Mid Autumn Festival and others.  Participants will learn about Chinese perfoming arts such as music and dance, arts and crafts. This workshop will also includeusefull resource for use in the classroom.
